How to Register for SET 2022?
1.Step by step guide for SET 2022 registrations:
Step 1 - Go online on the website. Please note that the registrations can be done
from 25th January (Tuesday), 2022, to 15th June(Wednesday) 2022.
STEP 2: Now Click on the ‘Register’ button for SET 2022 Registration.
STEP 3: Click on I Agree for SET 2022 registration.
STEP 4: Once This page Appears Fill in the details and click on Save & Continue.
STEP 5: Enter The OTP that you received on your mobile number and press submit for SET 2022 Registration.
STEP 6: Your ID will be generated and you will be redirected to Payment Gateway.
STEP 7: Select the exams and Institution that you wish to appear for and Click to pay once you verify the amount.
STEP 8: Multiple Payment modes are available for online payment. Your registration process comes to an end once you make your payment.

Note: Any Changes in the online application form (except test city preferences and admission category) will be entertained only up to the closing date of Registration i.e. June 15,2022. No changes shall be permitted after closing date under any circumstances. No requests for change of test city or category will be entertained once candidates have completed their Online SET/SLAT/SITEEE 2022 payment.
You may register for upto three tests from SET/SLAT/SITEEE.
Note: For Engineering, if a candidate applies to seek admission on the basis of test other than SITEEE, he/she need not register for SITEEE; rather he/she may apply directly to the concerned institute through the institute website (https://www.sitpune.edu.in/ and https://sitnagpur.edu.in/ ).

Ensure that the information you have filled is accurate. Candidates are fully and solely responsible to provide correct information during the application process. If it is found that any information provided by the candidate at the time of filling / submitting the application form is not true, SIU has the right to cancel the application or admission, at any stage, in accordance with its rules and regulations. SET 2022 Eligibility Criteria for NRI students
A student is eligible to apply as a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) if he/she has appeared for either 10th or 10+2 (equivalent to the Indian 10th or 12th) examination outside India. It is mandatory for NRI students, who have appeared for their 10th standard exam outside India and 12th in India, to appear for SET/SLAT/SITEEE as applicable.

How to prepare for SET Exam 2022?
Getting admission to Symbiosis International University is a dream for many students. But for that, you will be required to crack the SET and for that, a good deal of preparation is a must.:
1. Understanding Your Syllabus
The first and foremost step to prepare for the examination is to familiarize yourself with its syllabus. SET consists of 3 different papers, pertaining to different fields.
Syllabus for each of these papers is different from the other. However, your approach towards it should be the same. Start by identifying your strong and weak points. Once you are done, prepare a schedule to work on acing your strong areas and strengthen your weak areas to save your score during the exam.
2. Managing Your Time
Prepare a schedule to stay on track with your studies and to ensure that you do not miss out on any important topics for the exam. Pick chapters according to importance and weightage in the exam.
3. Collect Proper Study Material

Recognized by UGC and AICTE, Symbiosis International University’s admission and selection process involve a separate selection mechanism. Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is conducted to offer admission into various UG and Integrated courses.
SET (General) is the entrance exam in which a candidate must appear to get admission in the following courses: Management, Media Studies, Economics, Computer Studies, Liberal Arts, Information Technolgy and Applied Statistics & Data Science in order to study at Symbiosis.
Yes, there is SET (General) for the BBA course in Symbiosis.
Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is conducted once a year during April-May. This year the exam will be held on July 03, 2022 (Sunday).
The difficulty level of this exam is moderate.
No, the SET exam is not as difficult as NET. If you prepare well with mock tests, appropriate study material, and previous years’ papers, you have a decent chance to crack it.
Mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets such as watches, calculators, smart devices of any kind, etc. and paper are NOT ALLOWED inside the test center. There is no facility for safekeeping of your personal belongings outside the test hall. Only Admit Card & Photo ID Card along with a simple ballpoint pen will be allowed to be taken inside the test hall.
The topics to be covered for the SET General exam are General English, Quantitative, General Awareness, Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

Foreign Nationals are exempted from appearing for SET/SLAT/SITEEE 2022 and have to apply through Symbiosis Center for International Education (https://scie.ac.in/
SCIE earmarks 20% of the total intake of the respective program for international students which include, Foreign Nationals (FN), Person of Indian Origin (PIO) Card Holders, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holders, and Non-Resident Indians (NRI).
There is no negative marking in SET exam.

Yes, you can make an offline payment by submitting a Demand Draft (DD) from any Nationalized Bank in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.
There is a reservation policy for students from minorities and other categories but no grace marks in the SET exam.
Once you have met the cut-off of the entrance test, you will be eligible for the further Personal Interview-Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT) or Studio Test and Personal Interaction (ST-PI), in the next round.
