What is Symbiosis Entrance Test / SET 2020?

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET 2020) is the university level entrance exam conducted by the Symbiosis International (Deemed University), a private higher educational institution in Pune. The registration process for SET 2020 has already begun from 22rd January 2020. The last date to register for SET is 16th April 2020.

The application form for SET 2020 is now available on the official website of Symbiosis International University. You would be required to follow these mandatory steps to complete your application:

SET 2020 Application Fee

  • Symbiosis SET 2020 Application Fee is INR 1750.
  • Symbiosis SITEEE 2020 Application Fee is INR 2000.
  • Those applying for two exams have to pay an additional fee.
  • INR 1000 has to be paid for each program.
  • The fee amount is non-refundable.
  • The category of candidates has no effect on the fee amount.

The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET 2020) registration fee for SLAT/SEED/SET- General is Rs. 1750/-. (Non-refundable and non-transferable). You are also expected to pay the programme registration fee of Rs. 1000/- for each programme. (Non-refundable and non-transferable)

The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET 2020) fee for SITEEE is Rs. 2000/- (Non-refundable and non-transferable). The same includes the programme registration fee of the programme offered by Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT).

If you wish to take a test in the morning as well as afternoon session you will have to pay the entrance test registration fee for both sessions.

  1. No changes shall be permitted after the closing date under any circumstances.
  2. After getting a unique SET 2020 code, you must log in and fill the application form very carefully.

Instructions for filling Symbiosis Entrance Test SET 2020 Application Form

  1. Any changes in the online application form (except test city preferences and admission category will be entertained only up to the closing date of Registration i.e. April 16, 2020.
  2. No changes shall be permitted after the closing date under any circumstances. No requests for change of test city or category will be entertained once candidates have completed their online SET/SLAT/SEED/SITEEE 2020 payment.
  3. SET/SLAT/SEED/SITEEE 2020 will be conducted in an online mode across 80 cities all over India. A candidate may choose three preferences of test cities.
  4. Your photograph should not be more than 100 kb. Failing to scan and upload the photo as per the defined guidelines, it will result in the cancellation of candidature.
  5. No donation or capitation fee is required to be paid for admission to any of the Symbiosis institutes. Students are cautioned against falling prey to any such assurance/offer by any individual or outside agency.

Symbiosis SET 2020 Results

After the declaration of the SET 2020 results, the institute (offering the programme(s) for which you have paid) will conduct further selection processes for short-listed candidates. The schedule for the same will be published on the website of the respective institute(s).

SET/SLAT/SEED/SITEEE 2020 Score will be valid only for admission to select programmes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for the academic year of 2020-21. No, the SET exam is not as difficult as NET. If you prepare well with mock tests, appropriate study material, and previous years’ papers, you have a decent chance to crack it.

The topics to be covered for the SET General exam are General English, Quantitative. General Awareness, Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

here is only one paper for the SET exam. If you have applied for two courses simultaneously then, you might have to give two different exams in the morning and afternoon sessions.

SCIE earmarks 15% of the total intake of the respective programme for international students which include, Foreign Nationals (FN), Person of Indian Origin (PIO) Card Holders, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holders, and Non-Resident Indians (NRI).

There is no negative marking in SET exam.
