SET 2025 Reservation Criteria

Under the UGC 2006 guidelines, the following are the reservation criteria for students in Symbiosis International (Deemed University):

The exam is required for undergraduate programs such as Business Administration, Media Management, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Mass Communication, Economics, Applied Statistics and Data Science, Dual Degree, and Sport and Exercise Science.

Under the UGC 2006 guidelines, the following is the reservation criteria for students at Symbiosis International (Deemed University):

Scheduled Caste (SC)	15%
Scheduled Tribes (ST)	7.5%
Differently Abled #	3%
Children/wards of Defence Personnel	5% for SICSR
Kashmiri migrants and Kashmiri Pandits/Kashmiri Hindu families living in Kashmir (Non-Migrants)	2 seats per programme
International Candidates	A maximum of 25%

Note: Candidates applying under these categories would be required to submit supporting documents during the PI round.

Symbiosis conducts its SET only once in a year.

The mode of SET registration and exam is online only!

SET/SITEEE will be conducted on May 05, 2025 (Monday) and May 11, 2025 (Sunday). You can apply for both tests.

The SET fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Foreign Nationals are exempted from appearing for SET/SITEEE 2025 and have to apply through Symbiosis Center for International Education (https://scie.ac.in/).

SCIE earmarks 20% of the total intake of the respective program for international students, including Foreign Nationals (FN), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Non-Resident Indians (NRI).

There is no negative marking in the SET exam.
