A. Registration process

  1. Register online on the website set-test.org (from January 24, 2019 to April 21, 2019)
    Note: Any Changes in the online application form (except test city preferences and admission category) will be entertained only up to the closing date of Registration i.e. April 21, 2019. No changes shall be permitted after closing date under any circumstances. No requests for change of test city or category will be entertained once candidates have completed their Online SET/SLAT/SEED/SITEEE 2019 payment.
  2. You may register for one paper in the morning (for example, SET-Law (SLAT) or SET-Design (SEED), and/or one paper in the afternoon session (for example, SET-General (SET) or SET-Engineering (SITEEE).
    Note :
    For Engineering, if a candidate applies to seek admission on the basis of test other than SITEEE, he/she need not register for the same; rather he/she may apply directly to the concerned institute.
  3. Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photo at the time of Online Registration. (Your photograph should not be more than 3 months old).
  4. Ensure that the information you have filled is accurate.

Candidate should note that SET/SLAT/SEED/SITEEE 2019 is only the first step. Each Symbiosis institute has its subsequent independent selection process.

  • The SET-2019 has 4 different papers:- (SET) SET-General, SEED (SET-Design), SLAT (SET-Law) and SITEEE (SET-Engineering).
  • A candidate may take more than one paper. However, he/she will have to choose and register for one paper from the morning session (SLAT/SEED) and/or one paper from the afternoon session (SET/SITEEE).

B. Modes of payment

The candidate may pay through i) Billdesk Payment Gateway ii) Easebuzz Payment Gateway iii) Indian Bank Payment Gateway iv) Demand Draft.

Pay the Entrance Test fee of Rs.1750/- for each test. If you are registering for one test in the morning (SLAT/SEED) and one test in the afternoon (SET/SITEEE), the fees are Rs. 3500. Please note that last date of payment is April 21, 2019.


Submit a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1750/- for ONE Test (morning OR afternoon) OR Rs. 3500/- for TWO Tests (one from morning session and one for afternoon session) from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in "Make Payment" Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat [STS] only at:

The Symbiosis Test Secretariat will authenticate the details of Demand Draft and will send you an email confirming the payment. Only after the realisation of payment, would you be able to view your Admit Card.

IMPORTANT: SET / SLAT / SEED / SITEEE 2019 fee is non-refundable.


  1. Please note that Symbiosis Test Secretariat will not be responsible for non-delivery or any delay on the part of courier / postal services.
  2. It is also mandatory to complete the payment process of desired institute for desired programme(s) before the closing date of payment of the respective programme. Payment towards the programme(s) also needs to be done through the website only (set-test.org).
  3. For disputes between the candidate and the Symbiosis Test Secretariat, the candidate should first send an Email to registrar@siu.edu.in with details about his/her grievance. If the candidate is not satisfied with the decision of the Registrar, he/she can appeal to the Ombudsman of the University. Information regarding the same is available in https://siu.edu.in/student-affairs.php. All dispute between the candidate and STS in this regard are subject to the legal jurisdiction of Pune.
  4. SET / SLAT / SEED / SITEEE 2019 Score will be valid only for admission to select programmes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for the academic year of 2019-20.
  5. Admission to the select programmes at SIU are strictly based on merit, assessment of individual performance in the respective Entrance Test for Undergraduate Studies and other processes prescribed by the University. (Note: - SET / SLAT / SEED / SITEEE Result will be declared on May 14, 2019 on set-test.org and will be available up to June 15, 2019).

Procedure of Programme payment

A candidate desirous of applying to undergraduate programme(s), is also required to complete the payment process for the desired programme(s) before the closing date of payment of the same. Payment towards the programmes must be made through the website only (set-test.org). A candidate is required to make separate non-refundable payment of Rs.1000/- per programme per Institute at this stage.

If candidates want to pay programme payment through Demand Draft, make Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- for each programme in the name of Symbiosis Test Secretariat.

Even after closing of the payment for SET/SLAT/SEED/SITEEE 2019, a candidate may still pay through website till the last date of payment for the programme(s). An institute may offer more than one programme. A candidate should ensure that the preferred programme(s) is / are selected and paid before the last date.

Indian nationals and NRI candidates shall have to apply under SET 2019 to seek admission to the select Undergraduate programmes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University).

A student is eligible to apply as a Non Resident Indian (NRI) if he/she has appeared for either 10th or 10+2 (equivalent to the Indian 10th or 12th) examination outside India. It is mandatory for NRI students who have appeared for their 10th standard exam outside India and 12th in India to appear for SET/SLAT/SEED/SITEEE as applicable

However, OCI/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals are exempted from appearing for SET/SLAT/SEED/SITEEE 2019 and have to apply through Symbiosis Centre for International Education (www.scie.ac.in). For details regarding OCI/PIO/NRI/FN admission process, please refer to Sub Section I: Process for International Candidates.

After declaration of the SET/SLAT/SEED/SITEEE 2019 result, the institute (offering the programme(s) for which you have paid) will conduct further selection processes for short-listed candidates. The schedule for the same will be published on the website of the respective institute(s).

Any attempt to impersonate or indulge in any malpractice, identified at any stage of the admission process would disqualify the candidate from the admission processes to all UG programmes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and may also lead to appropriate legal action as deemed fit.
