Eligibility

Indian Students

B. Tech - Computer Science and Engineering / B. Tech-CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning)

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/ Information Technology/Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies /Entrepreneurship. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

OR

Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector. (The University will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme).

International Students (NRI / PIO/ Foreign Nationals)

• Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subjects. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
• Exempted from appearing for entrance exams (SIT EEE/ JEE-Main/ State Government Engineering Entrance Exams).

IB / Cambridge Board (IGCSE) Students

Eligibility rules for equivalence to 10+2 certificates from International Baccalaureate or Cambridge Board students:

a) International Baccalaureate (IB) Board:

• The candidate must have an IB Diploma or IB Certificate as a qualification for entry to the course, with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry at Higher Level (HL) and a minimum score of 24 credits. Completion of CAS, TOK, and EE requirements is mandatory.
• Good scores in any one of the following exams: JEE (Main), State Government Engineering Entrance Exams, or 12th PMC/V.
• Refer to the Admission Procedure for more details.

b) GCE/IGCSE/GCSE Examinations:

• Candidates must pass approved British Examination Bodies equivalent to Grade 12 with a minimum of 5 subjects, including English. Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry must be completed at Advanced Level ("A" Level), and English at Ordinary Level ("O" Level). Good scores in JEE (Main), State Government Engineering Entrance Exams, or 12th PMC/V.

• Grades must follow AIU conversion rules for equivalence. Only candidates with qualifications accredited by AIU and recognized by the Government of India are eligible to apply.

Policy for Vacant Seats in Reserved Categories

If seats remain vacant in reserved categories, they will be converted to General Category after approval from the Vice-Chancellor of Symbiosis International University.
