Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Nagpur is a part of a 52-year-old legacy called ‘Symbiosis’. Symbiosis International (Deemed University), headquartered in Pune is a multi-disciplinary university offering its students and faculty a vibrant learning ecosystem designed around its multi-cultural and innovative ethos. The university is based on the Vedic thought of – “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” meaning ‘The World is one Family’. Established in 1971 by Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, Symbiosis is a ‘home away from home’ for international students of more than 85 countries.
SCMS, Nagpur is a constituent of Symbiosis International University, Pune and was established in 2019 in the city of Nagpur. Nagpur is situated almost at the geographical centre of the country called the ‘Zero Mile’. It is also called as the ‘Orange City’. Nagpur is surrounded by jungle and many wild animals. It is considered as the ‘Tiger capital of India’. The sprawling 75-acre campus is situated in Wathoda area.
SCMS, Nagpur offers a 4 year BBA programme (3+1) which is in accordance with NEP 2020. The Academic Excellence we provide to our students is our greatest strength. We have a strong team of research oriented faculty members who impart theoretical as well as application oriented education. The teaching pedagogy includes experiential learning, class activities, debates, group discussions, practical tasks, life-long learning and life skills.
The programme framework allows options to pursue major, minor courses and opportunity to pursue multidisciplinary, ability and skill enhancement courses. By providing training in multidisciplinary courses like foreign languages, film appreciation, photography, MS Office, law, and design, we work towards a holistic development of our students. Apart from this, we focus on employability skills, entrepreneurial skills and inclination towards higher studies or research.
BBA at SCMS, Nagpur also provides opportunities for semester exchange programmes with foreign universities like Hoshchule University, Germany, HWR University, Germany, IESEG University, France, LBU, UK to name a few.

Our Programme
B.B.A (Honours / Honours with Research)
SIU announces the four-year degree programme with multiple entry and exit options as envisioned in the NEP 2020. The highlights of the new programme offerings are as under
- The Programme framework allows exciting options to pursue a BBA degree with a Major, a Major and a Minor in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, FinTech and International Business, along with the opportunity to pursue Multidisciplinary, Ability and Skill enhancement courses.
- Offers a good blend of immersive learning, research and community engagement
- Includes opportunities for semester exchange programmes with foreign universities
- Offers the following exit options: A Certificate at the end of the first year of the programme with 44 credits A Diploma at the end of the first two years of the programme with 84 credits A UG Degree at the end of 3 years of the programme with 120 credits A UG Degree with Honours / Research at the end of the 4 years of the programme with 160 credits
- Offers option of Re-entry within 3 years of exit and 7 years as the maximum permissible period to complete the programme.
- The students opting for Honours and Honours with Research must achieve a CGPA of 7.5 or above by the end of Semester 6
Eligibility
B.B.A. - Honours / Honours with Research
Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes).
Students who wish to opt for Honours with Research must earn a 7.5 CGPA and above at the end of the Semester-6. Eligibility Criteria for the Multiple entries would be as per University's Lateral Entry Rules for FYUG Programmes.

**Depending on any unavoidable circumstances, the schedules as well as the nature/structure of the test can change, and all tests can be conducted entirely online or entirely offline or in a combination of both modes at the discretion of SIU.
Infrastructure
CLASSROOMS
SCMS, Nagpur has air-conditioned spacious classrooms equipped with interactive smart boards, collar mikes, and a public address system. Our campus is fully Wi-Fi-enabled.
COMPUTER LABORATORY
The institute has two well-equipped computer laboratories featuring data analytics software and internet connectivity to facilitate the teaching-learning process.
LIBRARY & READING ROOM
Our library houses an extensive collection of management & course-specific books, classics, fiction & non-fiction books, periodicals, journals, newspapers, CDs, and DVDs. A key feature is the digital library, which provides access to e-journals, e-books, and online databases. The library reading room is open until midnight.
CORPORATE RELATIONS CELL (CRC)
To connect with industry and integrate best practices into the classroom, CRC oversees expert sessions, organizes conclaves and conferences, and provides internship and placement opportunities for students.
CLUBS AND COMMITTEES
SCMS, Nagpur empowers students through curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities via clubs, committees, and cells led by faculty members.
SPORTS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
On-campus sports and recreational facilities are among the best, offering numerous outdoor and indoor options. We have fitness centers, air-conditioned table tennis courts, basketball and badminton courts, a futsal court, as well as yoga, aerobics, and Zumba classes. Students can participate in outbound programs and competitions at all levels.
CANTEEN, MESS, HOSTEL & CAMPUS FACILITY
CAFETERIA
The campus houses a cafeteria that serves multi-cuisine food. The campus has a mess that serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner.
HOSTEL
Hostel facility is available for girls as well as boys on the campus. Hostels have AC and Non-AC twin/triple sharing, well-furnished rooms with Wi-Fi facility, hot and cold water through attached bath & toilets, generator backup, indoor games/recreation rooms with TV, guest rooms, housekeeping, and round-the-clock security. The facility is available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
GYMNASIUM
The campus has a spacious gym set up with all latest equipment.
HEALTH CARE CENTRE
Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC) is the Symbiosis family’s in-house healthcare service provider. It offers preventive, curative, and promotional health care facilities. SCHC provides Out Patient Department services at all Symbiosis campuses. A team of specialized doctors is on hand for consultation.
ATM
Bank of India has set up an ATM on the campus for the students, faculty, and staff.
