* The conditions to transition to Deakin University, Australia are:
a) Students successfully completing the first two years at SCMS-Pune and DoM, SIU, Dubai with a Weighted Average Marks (WAM) of 55 (CGPA of 6.25)

  • Exempted from appearing for entrance exams (SIT EEE/ JEE-Main/ State Government Engineering Entrance Exams).

IB / Cambridge Board (IGCSE) Students

Eligibility rules for equivalence to 10+2 certificates from International Baccalaureate or Cambridge Board students:

  • a) International Baccalaureate (IB) Board:
    • The candidate must have an IB Diploma or IB Certificate as a qualification for entry to the course, with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry at Higher Level (HL) and a minimum score of 24 credits. Completion of CAS, TOK, and EE requirements is mandatory.
    • Good scores in any one of the following exams: JEE (Main), State Government Engineering Entrance Exams, or 12th PMC/V.
    • Refer to the Admission Procedure for more details.
  • b) GCE/IGCSE/GCSE Examinations:
    • Candidates must pass approved British Examination Bodies equivalent to Grade 12 with a minimum of 5 subjects, including English. Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry must be completed at Advanced Level ("A" Level), and English at Ordinary Level ("O" Level). Good scores in JEE (Main), State Government Engineering Entrance Exams, or 12th PMC/V.

Policy for Vacant Seats in Reserved Categories

Applicants are required to secure at least 50% (Open Category) and 45% (SC, ST) in the 12th Standard

IB Certificate or Diploma students are accepted:

  • Certificate: Applicants must have a minimum of 24 credits and passed a minimum of three subjects at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL).
  • Diploma: Applicants must have a minimum of 24 credits and passed a minimum of three subjects at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL), along with core requirements of Extended Essay, Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), and Theory of Knowledge (TOK). Diploma students should also have their IB Diploma and transcript with Diploma Results stating “Diploma Awarded”.

GCE/IGCSE/GCSE:

Applicants must have a minimum of 5/4 subjects in A, B, C Grades including English at ORDINARY(“O”) Level and 2/3 subjects at ADVANCED (“A”) Levels. (Total of 7 subjects)
