**Depending on any unavoidable circumstances, the schedules as well as
the nature/structure of the test can change, and all tests can be conducted
entirely online or entirely offline or in a combination of both modes at the
discretion of SIU.
Note:-

Please note that the SET/SITEEE 2026 will be conducted in Computer Based
Test (CBT) mode.

The duration of each test is 60 minutes.

There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

All sections are mandatory.

Utmost care is taken to prepare an error-free question paper. However, if an
error is detected,
the Scrutiny Committee shall take an appropriate decision after the test,
which shall be final.

A candidate can appear for SET/SITEEE on both the dates: May 02,
2026 (Saturday)
and May 10, 2026 (Sunday). If a candidate appears for more
than one test,
the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation.
Important Instruction regarding Test Day / Admit Card

The SET/SITEEE Test Admit Card must be downloaded and printed from the
official SET website
[www.set-test.org]. Admit Cards will be available from
April 24, 2026 (Friday)
for SET/SITEEE Test 01 and from April 30, 2026 (Thursday)
for SET/SITEEE Test 02.
Black and white printouts will not be accepted.

Please ensure that your latest passport-size colour photograph is pasted on
the Admit Card in the space provided
before appearing for the test. (The photograph should not be more than six
months old.)

Admit Card along with Original Photo Identity proof should
be carried to the Test Centre at the time of the test.
Acceptable photo identity proofs include:
- Passport
- Driving License
- Voter ID Card
- PAN Card
- AADHAR Card (UID)
- College ID Card
Note: Soft copy of identity proof will not be accepted.

An authorized person will verify and authenticate your Admit Card against
the photo ID on the day of the test.
Please preserve this authenticated Admit Card for further PI processes.

Candidates should note that an authenticated Admit Card is an important
document without which they will not be permitted
to appear for further admission processes of SIU. If the authenticated Admit
Card is lost, a duplicate will not be issued.
It must be retained until the admission process is completed.

Cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches
with built-in calculators/memory, or any electronic gadgets—including smart
devices such as smartwatches, fitness bands, Meta Glass, or similar wearable
technology—will not be allowed in the test hall.

Candidates will not be allowed to leave the test hall until the test is
completed. After submission of the test, candidates will not be allowed to
re-enter the test hall.

Candidates are advised to locate their allocated test centre at least a day
in advance to avoid any issues on the test day.
Candidates who reach the test centre late for any reason will not be allowed
to enter after the gates are closed.

Travel and staying arrangements (if applicable) must be made by the
candidate.
-
The scores published by SIU shall be final and shall not be subject to any
appeal or revaluation.

Persons with Disabilities (PwD) / Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes /
Kashmiri Migrants and
Kashmiri Pandits/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in the
Kashmiri Valley category candidates
are requested to upload their relevant documents while registering for
SET/SITEEE.
Candidates failing to do so will be considered under the Open Category.

Any attempt to impersonate or indulge in any malpractice, identified at any
stage of the admission process,
will disqualify the candidate from admission to all undergraduate programmes
of Symbiosis International (Deemed University)
and may also lead to legal action.

If it is discovered that you have consumed any prohibited substances, entry
to the test centre will be denied.

Engaging in any form of malpractice or unfair means will lead to immediate
disqualification from the SIU admission process.
Providing false information or breaching the prescribed procedures at any
stage will result in cancellation of candidature
and disqualification from all future SIU entrance tests. If such misconduct
is identified after admission or during the course of study,
disqualification will be enforced retrospectively.
Furthermore, tampering with the registration form, admit card, or scorecard,
or submitting incorrect information,
will be treated as a serious offence. SIU reserves the right to cancel the
candidature and take legal action as per applicable laws.
Important guidelines regarding SET/SITEEE Test

The candidate must report to the test centre two hours before the test
begins to complete security procedures and verification of the admit card
and ID proof.

Candidates will not be allowed to enter the test centre premises after the
start of the test.

Duration of the test is 60 minutes. (Excluding Persons with Disabilities
(PwD); compensatory time is 20 minutes per hour).

The Test Invigilator will check your Admit Card and Original ID proof and
authenticate the same.
-
The candidate may attempt any section in any order.
-
The candidate found using any unfair means will forfeit her/his chance of
being considered for admission and will be debarred from receiving
SET/SITEEE Test scores.

On the day of the test, your digital fingerprint and/or photograph scan will
be captured. Candidates whose fingerprints cannot be digitally scanned for
any reason will not be permitted to take the SET/SITEEE test. It is strongly
recommended that you avoid applying Mehndi/colour on your hands (palm side)
for at least 5 days prior to the test.

Only candidates who have taken the SET/SITEEE Test 2026 are entitled to
receive the SET/SITEEE Test 2026 score card. Candidates are advised to take
a printout of this score card, which shall be the candidate's official
result. The score card is an important document and must be retained until
the completion of the programme, as it is required to appear for further
selection processes of the institute(s).
