Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT)entrance exam for law after 12th for admission into their 5-year integrated law programs. SLAT 2023 Eligibility criteria for B.A. L.L.B. / B.B.A. L.L.B.

SLAT 2023 eligibility criteria
  • Candidates who have cleared their 12th class examination from any national or state board of education are eligible to apply for SLAT 2023.
  • Candidates must have acquired a minimum of 45% in their exam. Candidates from the SC/ST category can apply if they have a minimum of 40%.
  • Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to the submission of a passing certificate at the time of the final admission.

All four institutes offer two five-year integrated undergraduate programs - B.A. LL.B (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws).

Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (B.A. LL.B):

There is a close connection between social sciences and law. A lawyer must be conscious of the intricacies and complex problems present in society. The integrated Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law programme at all four law institutes provides insights that can help students be socially aware lawyers. The course delivers an understanding of the historical perspective of the development of law, political factors influencing policies culminating in law, and the intricate relationship between legislation and social problems.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (B.B.A. LL.B.):

The economic scenario is constantly changing and has necessitated the need for multi-disciplinary lawyers. The Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (B.B.A. LL.B.) course aims to provide students with knowledge of the law along with a core understanding of management and business.   • You can make changes in the registration form only till the closing date of registration - April 16, 2023 (Sunday)
  • (Note: No changes in the city preferences and admission category will be entertained post the registration fee payment)

  • Upload your latest scanned colour photo at the time of online registration. The photograph should not be more than 3 months old.
  • Ensure all information provided is accurate.

  • The registration fee for SLAT 2023 is INR 1950/- This amount is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Along with the registration fee, you will also need to pay the program registration fee for each programme. The registration fee for programs is INR 1000/- (non-refundable and non-transferable)

SLAT 2023 - Admit Card

  • The admit card will be released on April 22, 2023 (Saturday) for SET Test 01 and April 28, 2023 (Friday) for SET Test 02 on the official website.
  • Candidate must take to the colour printout of the admit card.
  • The applicant has to carry the hall ticket to the exam.
  • Make sure that all the details should be mentioned on the admit card.
  • Along with the admit card, photo identity proof must also be carried. Passport / Driving License / Voter ID Card / Pan Card / AADHAR Card (UID) are only acceptable.
  • An authorized person will verify your Admit Card against the photo-id on the day of the test. Please preserve this authenticated Admit Card for further ST-PI processes.
  • If the Authenticated Admit card is lost, a duplicate Authenticated Admit Card will not be issued. It should be retained till the admission process is over.

  1. You need to register on the website set-test.org 
  2. [Note that, for any change in your online application form (except test city preferences & admission category) - after the closing date, you can’t approach for making any change whatsoever. Test center change request will NOT be accepted once you have made your SLAT 2023 online payment]. At the time of online registration, you will have to upload your latest scanned colored passport-size photo which should not be more than 3 months old.

There is NO negative marking

Difficult and easy are two relative terms.

If you stay consistent with your schedules, studies and get the fundamentals clear and do enough mock practice (against set time) you’ll undoubtedly find it easy and be able to clear.

Whereas if you are not serious about your studies or fail to do enough revision and practice, then you might find it tough.

You will need to pass 12th standard (10+2 or equivalent examination) from any recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks (or equivalent grade) if you are from the general category. The cut-off mark for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes is 40% marks or equivalent grade.

B.B.A. L.L.B. ( 5 years) requires only one SLAT application form.

Yes. The SLAT application form is for both B.A. L.L.B. and B.B.A. L.L.B.. You can take admission in 4 colleges under Symbiosis University - SLS Pune, SLS Hyderabad, SLS Nagpur and SLS Noida.

SLAT registration and last date to make payment is 12th April, 2023 (till midnight)

  • Record the time when you take your mock tests. This will keep a check on the time taken for solving questions.
  • Many online portals offer mock tests which you should take to identify your strengths and weaknesses. 
  • There are professional tutors and coaching classes that can help you prepare for SLAT in a more streamlined way.
