The Symbiosis Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (SITEEE) 2026 is the official entrance test conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes.

SITEEE serves as the gateway for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programmes offered by Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT) campuses. The entrance examination is applicable for admission to the academic year 2026-27 only.

SITEEE 2026 - Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for B.Tech (First Year)

Candidates must:

  • Have passed Standard XII (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognised board

  • Have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects

  • Have studied one of the following subjects in addition:

    • Chemistry

    • Biotechnology

    • Biology

    • Technical Vocational Subject

  • Obtain a minimum of 45% aggregate marks
  • Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe categories must obtain a minimum of 40% aggregate marks

Candidates who have completed qualifying examinations from a foreign board or university must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Eligibility for B.Tech (Lateral Entry - Second Year)

  • Passed a Diploma examination from an AICTE-approved institution

  • Minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates)

  • A diploma must be in the appropriate branch of Engineering or Technology

Admit Card Guidelines

  • Admit cards are released through the official website

  • Candidates must carry a colour printout of the admit card

  • Admit card must be accompanied by a valid photo ID:

    • Passport

    • Driving Licence

    • Voter ID

    • PAN Card

    • Aadhar Card

  • The admit card must be retained until completion of the admission process

Duplicate authenticated admit cards will not be issued.
