The SLAT 2021 Examination- A Brief Overview

Like every year, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) will conduct Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2021, which is the Symbiosis law entrance test for admission into its five-year integrated law courses which are BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.).

Under the banner and guidelines of SIU, the law courses are offered by the four law schools of Symbiosis. These are:

  • Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Noida
  • Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Hyderabad
  • Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Nagpur (new campus)

Just to give you a brief about these famous Symbiosis Law schools- all the schools have their curricula designed by professionals from the legal field. The curricula are framed keeping in mind and at par with the latest developments in the legal world in India and the world as well.

SLAT 2021: The Test Pattern and the SLAT Syllabus


SLAT Exam Pattern

The SLAT 2021 will be totally online (no offline option) of 75 marks (without negative marking). 

The question pattern will be Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs) of 75 marks to be completed in 75 minutes followed by a Writing Ability Test(WAT) of another 30 minutes.

A point to note here carefully is, WAT will be evaluated by the respective college where you have paid registration fees for the admission test. Finally, WAT scores will NOT be declared along with the SLAT score-card.

How to prepare for SLAT 2021

Now you must be wondering how to prepare for the SLAT 2021 examination? 

With hundreds of study materials available, rest assured, if you just prepare diligently with a set-routine, cracking SLAT will never be an issue for you.

You must keep the fundamental concepts of the subjects very clear and keep practising. Keep practising with a time-limit set. This will improve your speed. Because that will be one of the most crucial parts of the exam, the other one obviously being writing the correct answer!
