Candidates must have:

• Passed Standard XII (10+2) from a recognised board

• Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects

• One of the following as an additional subject:

  • Technical Vocational Subject

• Minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates)

Candidates who have completed their qualifying examination from a foreign board or university must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

B.Tech (Lateral Entry - Second Year)

Candidates must have:

• Passed a Diploma examination from an AICTE-approved institution

• Minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates)
